Data Products and Publications
One of the primary duties of
the Division of Oil and Gas is to develop and
manage Alaska's oil and gas leasing programs.
In order to accomplish this goal, diverse data
from a variety of sources are collected, compiled,
and analyzed. These data then help in the management
of Alaska's oil and gas resources and in setting
resource policy.
The division makes available
certain data and information products. These
products take a variety of forms, from highly
refined analytical reports to digital boundary
collections.

The following data products and
publications are assembled from numerous sources
and are provided here in an effort to improve
the availability of public information. The
State of Alaska has made a significant effort
to eliminate problems and errors from these
data, but shall make no expressed or implied
warranties (including warranties of merchantability
and fitness) with respect to the character,
function, or capabilities of this data or its
appropriateness for any user's purposes. In
no event shall the State of Alaska be liable
for any incidental, indirect, special, consequential
or other damages suffered by the user or any
other person or entity whether from use of
this data, any failure thereof or otherwise,
and in no event will the State of Alaska's
liability to the person using this data or
anyone else exceed the fee paid for this data.
