The North Slope Resource Series is a compilation of oil and gas interests and supporting information on the North Slope of Alaska. The compilation consists of four 80”x 36” poster size maps to be used for quick visual reference and to inspire discussion about the resources on the North Slope.

Oil & Gas Programs – Map Plate 1 – ZIP 3.1MB

Sale areas, leased land, oil and gas units, land ownership, borough boundaries, and federal boundaries are the focus of the data frame. Accompanying information regarding North Slope communities and lease sale schedules enhance the poster.

Regional Geology – Map Plate 2 – ZIP 6.2MB

Surficial rock classification, large-scale structure, energy resource accumulations, and basin information are shown. Geologic cross sections across main areas of interest and a geologic discussion enhance the map.

Available Seismic Data Map Plate 3– ZIP 19.8MB

This map displays public and brokered seismic data locations. Several regional lines were selected and shown on the poster to illustrate the data quality of certain surveys and trends that are visible in the seismic data.

Available Gravity & Magnetic Data – Map Plate 4 – ZIP 8.3MB

Four main data frames of this poster show: 1) Publicly available gravity data, 2) Publicly available magnetic data, 3) A regional gravitational anomaly, and 4) A regional magnetic anomaly.
