"Alaskans have long sought an Alaska gas line to get our North Slope natural gas to market, to provide in-state use of gas, reasonable tariff and expansion terms, and jobs for Alaskans for generations to come. AGIA kick-starts the construction of a gas line through an open, competitive, and commercially reasonable process."
